The previous reviews don't lie. County 16 is an off-road type road that requires a high-clearance vehicle... and 4-wheel-drive doesn't hurt either! But, once up above Ouray, it's absolutely gorgeous! And quiet. We camped 4 nights (Wednesday-Sunday) and saw exactly 3 other vehicles. We also saw deer and/or fox every morning and night, which was super cool. There is a creek that is difficult to access but provides some ambient outdoor noise. There are probably 10-12 spots (maybe more?) and most are on the smaller size, but there are a few comparable for fitting several vehicles. It's close to town so our phones had perfect signal (T-Mobile) yet far enough away to be alone in the wilderness! Definitely 5 stars and we'll be back!
