Pleasant Valley Cabins & Campground

Well names

There was a lot to like here, and a few things I didn’t. The good: Small. Grassy (albeit uncut and loaded with dandelions. Very natural!). Sits on a rushing small river (Cimarron). Fresh pie every day sold in the campground store (it was very good!). Close to BCGNP. The owners own land across the river and they pasture their sheep there. So in the morning at 8 they turn them out and the sheep go running and baa-ing across the pasture. -Super cute. Fairly inexpensive. Hookups worked. The not so good: They have this mannequin of a cowboy that they sit here and there. I’m sure they find it humorous, but it’s just too weird and a little bit creepy. I didnt like the laundry/bath house. You enter thru the laundry side. It was just a mess of stuff, needed paint, and smelled a little funny. Then you go into the bathroom where the toilet and shower both work fine. Hopefully they were cleaner than the laundry room. Poor Internet and only right outside the camp store. Currently they ask you to hold onto your trash. Something happened and I guess they can no longer get a trash service. In spite of the cons we liked the pros a lot and would stay there again.
