This is a great spot with very dispersed camping spots. Breathtaking views. I’ve driven it plenty of times, but this was my first stay.

Your altitude has a big impact on the weather conditions; especially at night. The beginning of the road will be much more trafficked than the end. Look for the off-trail spots to find a more private campsite.
