Beautiful. High Altitude. Def coming Back.

Beautiful Campground. This is definitely the quite general magazine inspired "Camping Experience". A quick 2 hour drive from Denver. Most sites had their own little bit of privacy, in some awesome tall pine trees. We were a short hike away from turquoise lake, which was great because we had some tree protection from the wind (it can get windy on the lake at night) About 10,000ft in elevation, so if you're not acclimated to altitude be careful. One of our couples in the group couldn't hack it after the first night and got very sick. Rain was bearable. Then had a great sunset campfire in the sand on the lake, and it was top 3 Colorado moments i've had since moving here 4 years ago.

Don't hesitate to reserve a spot here, they go fast! We instantly wanted to book another trip here after we left, and everything is reserved on weekends until Sept.
