Great camping
Awesome spots and great scenery. One of my favorite local spots.

Very peaceful campground, you can see and here your neighbors but at an enjoyable distance.
Restrooms are clean, camp is clean and hosts are very friendly and helpful.
This campground is a nice small size which keeps it fairly quiet. The trail to the reservoir is not easy or quick but it's worth it for the views and the fishing. The last 4 miles of road before the campground are dirt and a bit washboard so tighten your screws and make sure everything is secure.
The campground is very clean, sites can be reserved in advance or are first come if a reservation hasn't been made. There are plenty of areas to camp alongside the road on the drive in if you don't have a reservation and the campground is full. This campground will be closed at the end of September 2020. Each campsite is a little different than the next, but they all have a gravel tent pad, table, fire ring, and pole to hang lanterns or trash. The campground has vault toilets and a dumpster. There is a trailhead to the lake, lots of mountain biking, and very clean.
This small campground has a lot of charm. Nested among pine and aspen trees there is many activities to choose from. The bathrooms are well kept and the host is very helpful. There is a trial that goes to the reservoir and the spots are great for an RV or a few tents.
This is a beautiful area and close to Colorado Springs/Denver. Nice space with trees and facilities. I do wish the water was a little closer. The walk was rough and steep especially for the small humans. We went mid June and it was very cloudy, cold, and wet but we had fun anyway!
