Beautiful Spot
Nestled in the Aspens, this was a very peaceful spot to camp. It’s right next to a flowing river, so the sounds of the water make for a relaxing stay. This is a 3 star review for a few reasons. First, the water well was not working and was missing the handle. Additionally, while there are a couple lakes, one is private and Chalk Lake is only for fishing. It would have been nice if we could have kayaked. The other downfall is we had to drive 15 mins to hike. There didn’t appear to have any trails close, at least not marked. Great place for relaxing or ATVing, if you’re into hiking or Kayaking, not the best place.
