Great weekend experience
Great weekend experience
It's a very nice place. It's small and have 4 showers and about 6 flushable toilets. To shower It's by coins and each coin is 2mins. I was there labor day weekend and was full and windy but great and quiet no issues at all.
The campsites are too close together. Beach access is across the hwy and not the safest to get too.
Neat and clean campsite. They have pay showers which are decent. Less than 1/2 mile walk to the beach. Bike or hiking trails.
It was pretty busy and bustling when we stayed, but definitely a cozy spot. Great hikes nearby and the beach is just a short walk away! We saw lots of cute animals during our stay. The campsite pass also gets you free parking at pretty much any beach along the PCH.
Been going to this spot since my early teens. Short walk to the beach, clean restrooms. You can hike or bike all the way up or down the canyon to Newberry Park! Lots of wildlife and flowers. There is nothing like waking up to the sound of the waves crashing. There are fire pits but make sure you are allowed to have a fire. I think it burned in the fires last fall.
Our campsite was in the trees which made it the perfect getaway from the city. Basic amenities. Dogs allowed. Easy to access.
