We were hiking on the rainbow falls trail and were all too tired to drive further. We ended up spending the night in our car at the parking lot at the rainbow falls trailhead. We parked around 10 pm and left at 7 am the next morning. While driving out we stumbled upon another campground with a cafe where we ate breakfast (I don’t remember what it was called). We were so tired that we didn’t get to check signs but we weren’t the only ones spending the night in the lot. I wouldnt spend the night unless you are self contained.
