The location can hardly be beat. It's easy walking distance (~1 mile) to the water, and right off of Hwy 1. We love to go on the sand dunes and take disc sleds down them. The facility, however is really old and needs many upgrades. I've been coming to this location since the 70's (when it was called Sand & Surf). Other than losing the game room, there haven't been a lot of changes. The bathrooms are exactly the same as they were in the 70's and the sites really could use at least partial paving. You get out of the sand, but can't get out of the dirt. So sad! We've visited in July and November and have had the same problem in both instances.
