Getting an actual campsite along highway 1 is nearly impossible, and after checking for any open spots multiple times, we managed to grab the last first- come first- serve site here one night. Take a 5 minute walk across the street to the most beautiful beach area, staying for sunrise and sunset, knowing you have a cozy safe campsite waiting for you is an unreal experience!
