beautiful and clean
We camped here in early August 1017. We were close enough to the small town where there are restaurants and small shops. Don't forget enough blankets, layers, and an air mattress or padding for comfort because these items are very pricey, as expected, in the local shops. Camp host was very sweet and patient, as we were first timers. We didn't catch any fish at June lake but had fun trying. Others did, maybe we weren't using three right bait. Water was too cold to swim in for me but there were others in it. We rented a boat for half a day for about $65. Although it is best to reserve long in advance there are walk up spots, they just might not be where you'd like. Bathrooms had flush toilets and they even have coin operated showers at the marina. Lots to experience here. It did rain on us, (hard big drops) as we were just setting up camp but it cleared out and had beautiful weather the remainder of our visit.
