This is a really good place to camp. It’s far from anything major so the night sky is very visible. In August, as other reviews mention, there are a lot of flies from sun up to sun down. Harmless but annoying. Book in advance if you can. I arrived in the evening at 8/9pm on a Friday (busy season and a busy day) and was able to get the last available site but several other cars came through after me looking for spots. There aren’t a lot of backup options in the area The site is well maintained and a host was onsite too As always bring cash for fee
