There are about 10 sites on the edge of the meadow. There are many trails nearby than access the Ansel Adams Wilderness. The Minarets/ Mammoth Pool road from North Fork is the best access through 2022 due to bridge damage on Beasore road. Most of the road is a two lane paved byway that has some minor bumps to watch for. Due to the decimation of the 2020 Creek fire there is a chance of land slides and falling trees during storms. The last few miles is on a bumpy Dirt road.

In 2022 there will be logging on many roads in the area to remove hazard trees. The fire did not damage this campground.
