Alder Creek Camping is located 11 miles east of Glennville via State Highway 155 and Alder Creek Road (25S04). Paved and dirt road; no water; fishing seasonal. Maximum RV length 20 feet. Please pack out your trash. No reservation required! Campfire permits are required for campfires, barbeques, and camp stoves. Permits are available at your local Ranger Station or online at preventwildfireca.org

Nestled adjacent to the beautiful Deer Creek, Alder Creek is a semi-developed campground with 6 designated sites. Space is limited.

The Best Camping Near Glennville, California

    This camp is pretty hidden. If you're coming from glennville it's the first camp you will run into. There is a turn off with a stop sign facing the outgoing traffic so look out for it in your right hand side. 
   When you finally turn on you will follow the dirt road for 15 minutes and you will be going down in elevation from where you started at highway 155. 
   This camp gets very dry during the summer so pick your spot wisely because shade is a must. The dryness of the area also causes for some pretty heavy fire restrictions.
  There is a lot of mention on most websites about fishing in the creek but during my visit I didn't see one. It could be a seasonal thing but I'm not sure. 
  The first 3 campsites have 2 vault toilets close by so you can always feel a little bit of comfort. If you pass those sites and continue to the next you are looking at either hiking to the vault or digging a hole. 
  My stay and this campground was nice over all and it has way more privacy than Cedar creek. It's not a frequently used campground because of how hidden it is. 
  if your looking for a promitive campground this is the one for you. 

This is in Seqouia national forest not Los Padres 

You won’t get lost if you use the app called “WAZE”. Address on WAZE app is, “ Forest Rte 25S04 “  It’s a maps app just like Apple Maps. The app works even when you lose signal! It will take you right to the camp sites if you start the destination while you have signal. If you drive a bit further up the service road, you’ll find some really nice shaded, flat sites. If you want to have music playing loud all night and not have the neighbors complain, this is the spot for you! Hope you enjoy as much as I did! 
P.S. this hidden gem is as clean as it gets so keep it that way! Always pick up after yourselves.
