Great access to White River

We ended up staying our full two weeks here we liked it so much. The access to the river was fantastic. Quiet except for the dam siren for water level warnings before dawn and in the evening. Bathrooms were locked for the season, I presume. Starlink worked well at our site (9), but it wouldn’t at most of the sites.

Camping at our favorite fishing spot

This campground was a great spot for our first family camping trip. We went with a group of 6 adults (my kid still played with bugs). The view from our site was pretty and we had great trees for hanging hammocks. The bathrooms were close and clean. The fishing wasn’t amazing on this trip but we caught our limit on our last day trip. Our only complaint was the closeness of neighboring sites and foot traffic on the road.

Lots of Shade, close to water

We camped at The Pines loop because it was the only section with a functioning bath house in the off season. The river was down a very steep hill, so not accessible from camp, but there's a boat ramp nearby. The restrooms and showers were good and the volunteer caretakers were very helpful and friendly. Camp spots are easy to back into. Very close to the lake. Cell phone coverage was not great.

Nice secluded stay

We had a nice stay here the campsite was secluded away from everything. The sites were nicely spaced out away from everyone. We stayed at site 23 in the pines which was directly across from the bathhouse but there were only two of the four bathrooms open so it was a little frustrating waiting for a bathroom. But the stay was great it would be a great stay for tent camping, RV or camper. Would definitely recommend and a great view of the dam right when you get to the campground, be sure to stop and take a look.

Sitesite 23 in the pines.

Swampy and difficult to find

Stayed at the Parker Bottoms CG for 3 nights in mid-May and the whole area was very wet.  The bathrooms were in dire need of repair.  But all that was secondary to being able to actually locate the CG in the first place.  Even the attendant at the Dam Site Lake was unaware of where this CG was located.  The directions from the GOV site was of no use.  Finally found someone that was able to direct us to the correct location.

This is a COE CG definitely does not have wifi nor is there any cell signal from T-Mobile.

Beautiful hidden gem

The "Parker Bottoms" area of this campground is amazing. The wife and I keep coming back year after year. There is trout fishing right along the grounds in the White River and the sites are well kept and beautiful. The local deer greet you at breakfast from across the street and the facilities are always clean and well maintained. It's so quiet and the bluff across the river looks like fire when the sun is setting. It's my favorite spot yet.

Sites are great, restroom weren't

This is a very small campground, opened year-round is the reason we stayed here. It was late March. The sites are very nice, generous size. The bathrooms were filthy.

The best part is the views from the Beaver Dam and the drive to Eureka Springs.

White River side

Nice campground on the backside of the dam, along the white river. Clean bathrooms and showers, plenty of space between campsites. Internet was strong signal with four bars, air TV only five channels , plenty of shade trees , will come back

‘Riverfront’ with little access

the Dyrt has this campground mislabeled as Parker Bottoms. PB campsite is a few miles away on CR136. I did not stay there.

Based on the website, we thought we had riverfront campsite. Technically we did, but thick trees separated us with no views. A small trail led down to the water that you could launch a kayak from, but not fish.

Sites were fairly level and well-spaced. A community water spigot in each loop for water. No potable water at the dump area on the way in. Very good cell reception at this campground, 3-4 bars of VZW.

Know that there is not much White River access in this area for bank fishing. A large day use area off the dam gives lake swimming and lake fishing access. The Beaver Lake Dam LAKE camp ground is close by and has waterfront sites.

Camp along the river, but not much river access

All sites have nice tent pads, concrete picnic tables, fire rings, and lantern hooks. The sites are either on the river side of the long skinny loop or on the road side(sandwiched between the main road and the campground road). All sites have great hammock trees, and late at night and early in the morning you can hear the river from everywhere. However, you have to work really hard to get down to the river as the campground sits on high ground next to the river. You are better off going down the road a bit to get to one of the fishing access points instead. All of those have a nice parking area and a wide trail up and over a berm to get down to the river and skinny trails along the river for fishing.  They also have several horns scattered up and down the river to warn of sudden flooding/high water when the have to do a release from the dam upstream. It will startle you for sure!

Waterfront site

We had site #22 which was on the water facing west at the end of the loop. We had electric & filled with water when we arrived. There is a dump station here. It's a big lake We launched the kayak in from our site which is nice & floated on noodles in the lake at our site. It was a busy campground and there was a big group across from us with a mile long clothesline. Not a big deal just don't look that way. We had a tent camper that partied till 4 am one night loud people. It was only one night though.

Eureka Springs is a cute town very narrow streets and tough to park. Nice old houses built into the hills with springs.

Went to Blue springs, Pivot rock, Christ of the Ozarks statue, antiquing and good eats galore.

Nice spot but a little squished

This was a gorgeous campground that was very well taken care of. The bathroom were fantastic. Private shower/bathrooms that smelled like cleaning solution and had air conditioning. Park attendant was very nice and eager to help. No trash around park. I did think the sites were a little tight to each other, especially if you didn’t get an end slot!

Nestled in the woods, fascinating dam

Booked this visit for close little pseudo-holiday while working near Branson. The spots were very long and staggered in distance apart. No direct water access however there was a little hidden trail and some wooden steps down to the river behind our site. Lots of shade and a very quiet campground. Facilities were okay - unisex toilet/shower individual locking rooms. The dam siren seemed to go off each morning and the river levels fluctuated. The lake atop the dam was almost blue water!! (Unusual for the Midwest ;) Water was clear and gorgeous and not very much traffic. Love this area and would recommend camping here.

Hidden Jem

This campground is one of the hidden treasures of northern Arkansas. You are always close to the water and a short distance to a fantastic hike on Beaver lake. The facility was clean although we found the campsites close together.

This resevoir is awesome

This resevoir is so awesome to go to, I love scuba diving in the nice warm water here, fishing is also great, there are tons of trout! I hate to say it though, but us divers do sometimes get in the way of fishing. Other than that, this is one of my favorite places to go in AR, and all of the camp sites are either super close, or just a short walk from the water
