This place is such a fun weekend getaway, it's far enough to get some peace and quiet, yet it is also close enough to where you can be in the mountains with a short drive
There is nothing like Idaho! This place is awesome, there are many beautiful hiking trails as well as a few that lead to waterfalls, this area is definitely a must see if you are in the area
This lake was so much fun, especially for canoeing and kayaking, this place had quite a bit of fish, as well as awesome bird watching! Such a neat place to visit
This place was packed full of trails and the rivers and lake was full of fish, all in all it was an adventure filled weekend at this rec area!
When I visited this place it was such a disaster. The trash was overflowing, the bathrooms were a mess, and there was no TP, and the quiet hours was not enforced, so people were up partying all night. I will look for another place to stay next time
We went here for mountain biking (if you go, check out Groupon for the lift) this campground was awesome because it was so close to Brundage resort, and the ski lift up, it was such an enjoyable stay, filled with awesome people! Can't wait to go back
These sites lack amenities, however, the primitive feel really helps you enjoy the beauties of new Hampshire, some of these sites require you to walk about half a mile into them which really adds to the privacy, I will surely be back for another stay
This place was such a fun place to go camping! We brought a drift boat and fishing gear and had a blast! There was sites for tents, as well as cabins and lean to's this place was beautiful with such a relaxing and humbling environment
This was a wonderful place to go fishing with the family! The park was well taken care of, and the bathrooms were very clean, anD stocked. I also really love the park rangers, the were so nice and gave the kids some smokey bear Frisby's That kept them occupied for the entire weekend!
This resevoir is so awesome to go to, I love scuba diving in the nice warm water here, fishing is also great, there are tons of trout! I hate to say it though, but us divers do sometimes get in the way of fishing. Other than that, this is one of my favorite places to go in AR, and all of the camp sites are either super close, or just a short walk from the water
This place is awesome for families! The kids had so much fun here, we stayed in the cabins here, but we were hardly even there to enjoy them because there were so many kid and family friendly activitis and events
This campground offers over 100 campgrounds, which makes it to where it is not too private, however the surrounding area is beautiful, the hills are so lush and green, and the lake is wonderful to fish in.
This place is such a beautiful place! It is so green and in the fall there are so many beautiful hues of reds and yellows! I highly recommend this place, the camping ground is absolutely beautiful, and the Ohiopyle town is such a cute little place to visit.
I love ohiopyle! the road up to it has many little waterfalls and wonderful little hikes to take. There is a natural water slide as well that is fun to swim in. There is also some great little shops in the town, and a wonderful wine festival that happens in May! I will definitely be back!
This place is pretty much the overflow camping lot if starving rock is full it is a wonderful place, and most of the sites are nicely shaded by large trees. This place had little traffic going through the camp grounds, so it was perfect to let the kids run wild.
This place is awesome for day hikes and nature walks! There are so many beautiful views, and many beautiful looking sand stone formations!
One of the best features about this site is that there are group sites, and they are reservable, making it great for large groups and family events. Other than that, it is a relatively basic campground, but it is also ADA accessible which makes it to where any one is able to enjoy this camp!
this place is such a great getaway, the campground doesn't have many sites, but i have yet to experience a full campground. This is pretty basic camping, there are the basic outhouse toilets, and parking for about 2 cars, There is also a few spouts to get some fresh water. All in all this is a fun little get away, and not to mention the name moosalamoo is just fun to say!
This campsite is awesome, and it is even nicer if you are able to get a site on the outer ring with a little bit more privacy! There are quite a few hiking trails that are located just a short drive away from the site. The bathrooms were also kept nice, and the levels of trash around the campgrounds were pretty much non-existent. It is well taken care of, just wish there were hiking trails directly available
this camp ground has a great location, downhill from the highway, there is virtually no noise from the road, and there are hotsprings located within a half a mile from your camp ground. One of the best hot pools is located on a side of the hill that requires you to walk through the river for a short distance, which really adds to the uniqueness of this camp ground.
