Went here over Labor Day weekend and really enjoyed it. The road from the I-17 entrance was well maintained and can be driven on with any vehicle. I had my Chevy trax (front wheel drive) and made it fine. There are plenty of pull off trails we explored. Some of them you’d definitely need a high clearance vehicle to drive down, but plenty you don’t. Lots of fallen trees so if you have a chain saw, all the fire wood you need.
