This was a peaceful place to camp. Right off the highway. You can hear some of the traffic but it wasn’t a big deal to us. The dirt roads are decently kept and wasn’t too rough of a ride. We drove off the road to find a spot to set up. There are small tree stumps to watch out for but I’d image a small car wouldn’t have an issue navigating. There are established fire rings here and there. We didn’t see much wildlife but heard turkeys in the distance. It’s close to rim road if you want to take that drive. There are a lot more campers in that area. We didn’t see anyone for the three days we were there. We will definitely go back. This has easily become one of our favorite spots.
