Nice location
We wanted to go to Greasy spoon but the road was too rough. Nice view on the mountains. There is a lot of abandoned rigs and cars. Few homeless. We just arrive We will see if We stay for a While or not

Tried staying. However, the roads had been graded, and every spot... except a few at the front were plowed in.
Good place to stay for one night if you are passing through. A little sketchy with some abandoned vehicles. Be extra careful with big rigs, there are some very tight spaces, but overall it was a good place for boondocking for the night.
Got in late and while driving around trying to find a spot, we encountered some strange people. One man half dressed walking around with a flashlight, wondering what we were doing. There may be some campers but there was a large number of homeless people when we went. Very crowded area. Ended up moving on to different spot.
We set up the tent and the tent was stolen. A bunch of homeless people living there. Won’t recommend it.
We went to 3 different places, all were shut down due to poor road conditions. This place was by far our favorite site during our 2 week road trip.
The roads are easy to get into but sites do fill up fast. Reception is not stable even with a booster. I have great reception and no reception in 5 minute time frame. Lots of cows in the mornings. Bulls leading the herd, please don’t mess with them as that could be dangerous. The sand is very fine and will be on everything. If windy, secure down well. The wind here is pretty brutal. The views are amazing and definitely worth a visit.
Easy in and out. Dirt road goes down several miles with spots on both the left and right hand sides. I went back over a mile and had good Verizon Cell Service. Beautiful sunset the night I was there. Clearly marked spots with fire rings. The road is dirt but smooth. I saw several large rigs coming in and out.
Various sites along the main road behind the church. You can camp in any one until you see the sign a mile or 2 down the road that says no camping
Great spot for watch sunrises and sunsets. Wonderful spots to camp. Some large flat area are great for RV’s and groups
