We pulled out from the DW Ranch Road (Google Maps 259) into one of these sandy dirt roads. Absolutely fine with 4WD and our Honda CR-V. It’s just a little bit loose terrain. Found a spot just about a quarter mile down the road. Didn’t see someone else close by. We stayed for one night in our tent and enjoyed the wonderful November sunset 🌞 We didn’t hear the i40. Just some cars driving up and down the Ranch Road. Good 4G Verizon internet connection, too. Didn’t had much view from here nor do we appreciate all the sand in our tent or shoes. But absolutely fine for one night 👌
