We took a day trip out to this site, unloaded the bikes and headed out for a ride on Silverbell Road into the mountains. If you are heading to this site, I recommend putting the coordinates in your GPS or phone. It's easy to pass. It's a nice site with plenty of pullouts. We were the only ones our there.

Only camp here if it is cool out. There is no shade. It's pretty, but not spectacular. There are many other areas of the desert that are much more beautiful. 

We road about 3 miles out and it was pretty much all downhill. That meant a gradual 3 mile climb back with no breaks, which as fine but tiring. It was a pleasant ride, but, again, nothing spectacular. 

We then drove around the mountains to check out the 80 arm saguaro, the Titan Missile Interpretive Site, and Waterman Restoration Area. It was a nice day but now that I have done it, I won't be back.
