BLM Silverbell Group Campsite
Reviewed Dec. 4, 2021

Beautiful but remote

This "group" camp is about 5 mi on a good gravel dirt rd from the end of the pavement on Silverbell road. There is no signage as of Nov 2021. However the site is identified by all the fresh large boulders outlining the group area. Looks like 5-7 camping sites in the defined group area. Nice cactus vegetation, however NO cell signal! And NO toilets, tables, metal fire rings or trash cans...NO water either. Not sure if this group site has to be reserved, it is not listed on the reserve.com site, but local BLM office indicated the local recreation person was the contact to book the site. No info on the cost, or if it is free? Three stars due to no cell signal and no toilets or water. With a group, no toilets and water could be a significant drawback if the group are tenters.
