After spending a day in Saguaro National Park we weren’t sure if this wouldn’t just be more of the same. Wrong! Loved all the trails within this National Monument and the whole vibe of the place. Sort of like Big Bend National Park in that it’s definitely your destination due to its remote location. But well worth the trip. Dry camping at Twin Peaks Campground within the facility was no issue with water still available even under COVID rules. We had 2 bars of LTE with Verizon most of the stay. Just time your stay in either early spring or late fall, otherwise the heat will be pretty overbearing.
