Stayed recently in Group Site KG2, which personally is the better of the other group sites. KG1 has a large veranda and fire pit but many of the sites don't have much shade or good spots to set up a tent. KG2 was perfect for a group, we set up the group kitchn at the first site by the toilets as it had the most shade coverage. Everyone else spread their tents around the remainder of the group site for privacy/space. Very clean and frienfly campground, 5 min drive from Williams if you need supplies. Lake was low and didn't seem to have much fish, still a beautiful area.  Only downside is road and train noise.  It's right off the 64 to the Grand Canyon and it's suprusing how much traffic this gets in the middle of the night.  The train tracks that run from Los Angeles through Willams, and Flagstaff and East are also very close so can hear the trains at night also.  Overall the upsides greatly outweighed the noise factor.
