I went at the end of February, the days were warm but the nights were chilly! So bring jackets! We found a camp site that was as secluded as we could get in the area. Right next to a road but traffic normally was inactive between 8pm-7am. Less than a quarter of a mile walk to the lake. Nice people nice camp ground, but mostly meant for people who haul campers and boats
