This was a great spot for us as an overnight to refresh on the way to Tombstone. The park is mostly permanent / long term residents, and some of the sites are pretty run down and shabby looking, but it has almost everything we need.  It's advertised as 55+ but that requirement doesn't apply to overnighters.

It has a clean laundry room, showers, club house with board games and billiards, wifi, and bulk propane.  Really large book & DVD library in the office.  Trash cans throughout facility, but no recycling bins. Good cell reception.

There is a clothing donation drop-off that benefits Southern Arizona Children's Advocacy Center near the entrance, and in the office there is a drop off for your old eyeglasses, hearing aid batteries, and cell phones run by the Lions Club.  In the clubhouse there was a food pantry, take what you need, donate what you can.

Every single person we ran into was so, so friendly, warm, and welcoming, even though we were just passing through.

We were warned by our friendly neighbor about javelinas running through the campground at night, and we saw plenty of their hoof prints in the sand, but sadly we didn't see any ourselves.  Apparently they've been getting bolder though so if you see any keep your distance.

There were signs on the office windows about covid safety, but not one person was wearing a mask, indoors or out.

Office is only open 9-12pm Mon - Sat but you can check yourself in if you arrive when they are closed.

They accept Passport America and Good Sam discounts. We paid $10 for a 30 amp site with Passport America (half off).
