This past weekend was my first trip camping in Homer. Decided to find a spot on the spit and I was not disappointed. The view was fantastic and watching the sunset was gorgeous. You do end up really close to others camping on the beach as well but when it’s a weekend in the summer I’m not sure what else you’d expect. Being within walking distance to everything is also a plus.
