Gorgeous views of mountains and glacier abound. This campground is by far the best in Valdez if you want woods and not waterfront. Previously military only, now everyone is welcome. Pavilion and day use area, showers and restrooms of course. Also RV site with hookups and lots without. Tent sites too. Tons of sites to choose from your bound to find the perfect one for you. Lots of pull through sites for larger rigs, firewood for purchase $8 so grab it before you come. Nice deep sites with plenty of wood coverage for privacy. Only downside is that it is a bit far from downtown but close to the Valdez Glacier and Lake access.
