Rocky shores, dense woods, snow-capped peaks, wildlife...yet another quintessential Alaskan campground. Bring a kayak or other watercraft!! Nice hiking trails nearby, nothing too strenuous. Run by USFW, very clean. Like all car campsites, you don't always feel totally alone here but you get enough solitude and everyone was very quiet and friendly. It can fill up in summer (no reservations) but there are a lot of other sites nearby.
