Pinhoti Trail Cave Creek Connector Backcountry Campground — Cheaha State Park

Primitive Solo Site

If hiking in Cheaha, this is a nice and easy site to get to. Located very close to the parking lot, this small primitive site is right off the loop trail at Cheaha. The biggest downside to this site is that it is small and only large enough for one group. The other downside is that if you are willing to hike a bit more, there are camping options that are closer to the main lookout point. However, I truly feel that any site in the area is great for camping because of the long, but not too challenging hikes and wonderful look out.
