Pinhoti Trail Backcountry after passing McDill Point — Cheaha State Park
Reviewed Nov. 1, 2017

Nice, but not best site at Cheaha

This is another option for backpacker (or day in hikers) in Cheaha Park. This site is located a bit past the overlook and unfortunately is located on a slight incline. This can pose a bit of a hassle when camping and because of this, I think there are better options in the area. The positive to this site is that it is located closer to a running stream (although in warmer months the stream may dry up). While not the best site, it is still in a great park with amazing hikes and look outs just minutes away.
