This place has it all: electric hookups, clean bathhouses, and spacious sites that aren't crammed together. You can set up your tent, park your RV, or even stay in a cozy cabin.

One of the standout features here is the access to the Tennessee River. Whether you're into kayaking, boating, or just want to fish, the park's marina has you covered. There's even a loop trail that starts right from the campground, offering a scenic 2.8-mile hike along the water.

The park also has a nice playground for the kids and plenty of wildlife to keep things interesting—think owls, coyotes, and more.

Visitors have praised the campground for its cleanliness and the friendly, helpful staff. The bathhouses, while a bit dated, are kept in good shape and offer decent water pressure. Plus, the sites are well-shaded, so you won't be roasting in the sun all day.

Overall, Pickwick Landing State Park Campground offers a solid mix of nature, comfort, and activities, making it a great spot for a weekend getaway or a longer stay.
