Welcome to Cobscook Bay State Park Campground, nestled near Dennysville, Maine. This spot is a haven for those seeking a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature. The campground is beautifully situated with Cobscook Bay wrapping around it on three sides, offering stunning water views and a rich array of wildlife. You might even spot seals and otters during your stay!

The campground boasts 106 campsites, ranging from tent sites to RV spots. Some of the best sites are right on the water, providing a serene backdrop for your camping experience. The thick woods offer plenty of shade and privacy, making it feel like you have your own little slice of paradise.

One of the standout features here is the bathhouse with showers near the ranger station. While most of the other restrooms are vault toilets, they are well-maintained and scattered throughout the campground. There's also a sanitary dump station and water fill site near the entrance, which can get busy on Sundays when weekend campers are heading out.

For those who love outdoor activities, there are two short hiking trails within the park, one of which leads to a viewpoint overlooking the tidal river. If you're up for more adventure, Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge is adjacent to the park and offers longer hikes. The park also has a paved boat launch, perfect for kayaking or paddleboarding, especially at high tide.

Don't forget to bring bug spray, as ticks, mosquitoes, and black flies can be quite prevalent, especially in the warmer months. And if you're in the mood for a meal out, Sue’s Cobscook Café nearby serves a fantastic brunch, with the Greek omelet being a crowd favorite.

Whether you're here for the wildlife, the water activities, or just to relax in a beautiful setting, Cobscook Bay State Park Campground has something to offer. Enjoy your stay!
