Great tent site and facilities
Best of both worlds! We had a great tent spot up on the hill with a great view of the valley behind. So it was a quiet tent spot to ourself, but 30 seconds down the hill foe access to the amazing restroom and showers! Also the laundry facilities were fantastic. The pool and hot tub were fantastic in the hot days. The staff was very nice!
Close to all the sites.
Beautiful facilities!
This is our second stay at the Royal Gorge Campground. We had a fabulous site surrounded by trees on three sides. The new owners are so accommodating! The newly remodeled bathhouse and laundry facilities are beautiful! I’d love to come back and stay in one of their new cabins with a fantastic view of the snow capped Sangre De Cristo mountains!

Spectacular mountain views!
We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Gorge RV Resort. The new owners were in the process of updating the bathhouse which will look beautiful from what I could see! The sites were level and well-kept. The camp store was well stocked with firewood, camping supplies, a s’mores bar, cold drinks and lots of Colorado made items. The view from the hot tub was amazing! The fire pits on the patio were cozy and inviting. The location was perfect, close to the Royal Gorge bridge, rafting in the Arkansas River, hiking trails, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and several great restaurants. The playground was very kid friendly and the giant jumping pillow was super fun! We are already planning our next visit!!

Clean and safe
Its got some good spots. Some good open spaces for big families. Due to the lack of trees. But will be amazing one the new ones grow back. Bathrooms where very clean. One thing we didnt like is road coming in was a little wash pan. Hard on our older rig. And no fault of the host. Man people drove fast by our sight no regard for posted speed.
Comfortable and beautiful
