The campground is on the upper Kern river in Sequoia National Park and easy to reach for fishing hiking and rafting. It's next to a general store, hamburger stand and restaurant. The sites are spaced out well with some right on the river. It can get crowded in the summer with weekenders that have no regard for other people. Best times are early spring and fall.
