Hidden gem and worth a day trip stop

This is a hidden gem but currently under remodel in 2020. The great thing about this place is that there is a small day use area for 4 other surrounding lakes. This property is managed by Great Holidays Campgrounds and are reservable online. All the staff is very nice and reservations are cut off 48 hours prior to arrival.

If you follow the brown signs to Long, Irene, Canoe lake you are in for a treat. With connecting trails you hike possibilities are endless for something so close to the highway. At the end of the road is the long lake trail head and a very short hike to the lake. It is down hill there and uphill on the way back.
