Small and rundown

This CG sites at top of Boulder Lake by inlet. The CG has 15 sites, half back in half small pull thru. No reservations, all FF. However the CG loop road is crappy narrow, lumpy bumpy. Overhanging tree limbs, sites are so what worn out. No water, trash or cell signal. However it is cheap...$7/$3.50 senior. 14d limit. Note that there does seem to be free dispersed camping back out where the backpacker parking is in an open grassy area. Seems the locals park there in their larger TTs and RVs instead of trying to fit in the regular campground. There is also a grassy boat launch site there also. The Boulder campground was almost empty and the grassy open free dispersed area was packed, wonder why!!

This is not a campground

Whomever set this location was wrong! There is no access to the west end of the amazing Fremont Lake, and thusly, no campground. The previous reviewer is describing Boulder Lake nearby.

Great location

It’s about 10 miles up boulder lake road. Road in good condition, tons of RV and horse trailers coming out. Great location on the lake and campground on the creek. Multiple sites with fire pits and pull over grated. Sites also have bear locks and picnic tables. Restrooms available. Great hiking and fishing. So many high alpine lakes you could spend weeks hiking to new ones every day.

End of the Road

Literally the end of the road. Near a lake, The sites are surrounded by aspens. There is no water but there is a vault toilet. Even though it is near a small lake it is quiet, There are pull through and back in sites for RVs. Sites are good size. Fire rings and bear storage boxes are available.

Peaceful sites between the lake and two trails

Gravel access road from the Boukder Wyoming area. Limited number of established sites in the formal campgound loop. Other folks camp near the Boulder Creek trailhead.

Pit toilets, gravel parking, trail map displays. Picnic tables and fire rings. Suited for tents and smaller RVs. Bigger RVs camp near the trailhead parking area.

The two trails up Boukder Creek and to Blueberry Lake go up into the Bridger Wilderness. Bring bear spray and fishing rods.

Boulder Lake

This is one of my favorite places close to home for camping. My family and I have been going here for years, since I was a little kid. It's a little desert oasis, we always have a great time. Great camp sites with near by trails and close access to the lake.
