Accessible & Easy!

Great spot ~30mins from downtown Jackson with big spaces and an easy to access road! Biggest con - it’s heavily trafficked with significant road noise during daylight hours.

Arrived at 7:30pm on Thursday and only passed one (big) spot before finding an empty one (43.3071403, -110.8008719). Spot was flat with established fire pit. Road is your typical gravel boondocking road but not nearly as bad of washboarding or ruts. Some mosquitoes abound but again, not the worst in the area. Definitely recommend this spot!

Great camping an hour from Jenny Lake

We stayed here the night before our weekend trip to Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park. We were able to follow the directions easily from The Dyrt app, and road was easy to navigate with a minivan. We found a nice flat area where another car was parked. Site even had a fire pit. Lots of mosquitos, but common for this area. Great find!

How to find location

This spot is a bit tricky to find on the map but on Google maps the road is called "SOUTH fall creek road”. Hopefully that is helpful!

Stunning views and lots of space

We just finished a 2 night stay and it was breathtaking. Lots of bears but with 2 campers, 2 dogs, kids, and a gennie kicking on periodically we didn't see any.

We parked right on the creek, biked the road/trail, and loved the solitude.

Teton County rangers popped by as we were leaving but that was about it.

Road is minimum maintenance so it's a tight fit but we got a class A with trailer and a 36ft bumper pull back past the creek crossing. I do not recommend crossing the creek and going right in anything that size unless you are a VERY skilled driver. Up until then, it's just a dirt road so, no biggie.

Busy!

There were a ton of sites but they were taken so I had to keep driving further and further as the nice gravel road got rougher and rougher. Eventually found a nice spot, but it was very far away from the creek at that point. Still, pretty. No service.

Lots of dispersed spots , short days because of high canyon wall

Spent two nights here , we checked out two different spots one almost exactly on the dot shown and the other on the main road before the final turn off. The spot closest to the map dot has some insanely high canyon walls making more some really cold mornings and the creek wasn’t super accessible, the spots off the main road are great for hoback river access

Remote Spot For a Night

We were happy to find somewhere relatively remote on our trip to Tetons/Yellowstone. Campsites were approximately 3 miles in off of the highway on a wide gravel road, drivable in our F450 with triple slide truck camper. We camped right off the main road before the bridge but saw more campsites off a side road further up, which looked a little rough to try with our rig. There were about 8 cars that went by in the evening and 8 more in the early morning. It was a pretty area and besides the car noise, quiet. Good spot for one night.

Good for one night

We stayed here early July on our way to the Tetons/Jackson Hole area. Main road is very drivable for all vehicles but off shoot roads were looking more 4wd and clearance required to reach better camp sites. We found a spot right off the main road. The road has a steady spaced out stream of traffic so there was a bit of noise at night.
