Beautiful, peaceful, open

This area was the beginning of an adventure. And it feels somewhat adventurous for a "starting point". Sites are spaced far enough apart to where you rarely even recognize movement from the other sites, but you don't really feel "alone" if that is what you're after. The views are insane, sunrise to sunset. The one knock is the wind.. look, I get it, desert camping. On a mostly flat plain. Wind is going to be a thing. But if it stayed at a gentle breeze, this would be 5 stars all day! It comes and goes throughout the day sometimes a slow ramp up, sometimes a sudden gust. It rarely feels "dangerous" though one gust popped a tarp (old tarp or strong wind.. dunno) scared the bazeesus out of us.

Organized Dispersed Camping

When you come in from either the North or South on Sheep Bridge Road, you have a choice of going down one of the spurs which has anywhere from 5-15 campsites typically. Sheep Bridge Road is in great shape, but the spurs have some ruts in them. Easily passable with 4WD and even probably 2WD when not wet, but have to slow to a crawl over some of the potholes. Easy to get into Hurricane for supplies if needed, but still feels very remote.

These sites have the most incredible views of the mountains, plateaus, and ridges around the Hurricane/Zion area. A lot of the sites aren't very level and not intuitively laid out with the views and where the firepit is placed.

This particular spur has a trailhead at the end so there's a handful of cars going down to check that out but nothing major.

Views for Days

Came here at the end of April beginning of May. Stayed at site 35.  Temperatures were perfect not too hot not too cold.  While the vegetation is very short it gives you 100% sunshine for your solar. Very little animal life or flowers but the vistas are nice.  With no trees however it can get a bit windy at times.

I had 8-12 MB download and 12-15 upload speeds on my internet Verizon based.

Fun mountain bike trails through out the area.

Lovely spot

Great views and the camping spots are a good distance apart. There is a pit toilet near by.

Peace and Quiet

Quiet have seen less than a vehicle per day. Very nice site #27 with fire ring. Night sky is fantastic with 360 degree view. Hurricane is 6 miles away. Free water and dump station at Sinclair 40 Rlington Pkwy. Overall great experience

Beautiful Views

I have a 23’ RV that I pull with a truck. The road was a little rough but I got a great spot with the most amazing view. Will definitely be coming back. The park indicates what spots are RV spots but there were mostly RVs, even in “tent” spots.

camping overnight

Easy to get too, If you have a 2WD front wheel car you will most likely be fine if you drive slow. Very quiet area, so beautiful with views everywhere you look. there are some bathrooms but no other amenities I saw of. No shade anywhere. Cool and nice breeze at night.

Good spot for visiting Zion

There are lots of different designated sites along the whole main road. The spur road to sites 20-35 and then the fork to 26-35 is what I took, I stayed at site 33. My Nissan Versa handled the roads fine, just took it slow. No amenities except the bathroom at the trailhead a mile away. A good spot overall, some traffic down this road as I think the Virgin Dam Trailhead is towards the end of this spur road.

Great autumn site

I arrived here after having been caught in a snow storm up north. The weather has been mostly sunny and warm. The sites are very well spaced. There are no amenities. The scenery is spectacular.

Perfect spot for a standard sized RV with amazing views.

Took a standard sized RV from Cruise America to site number 31 off of sheep bridge road. Access is from the trailhead signage and parking lot in between route 9 and 59 on sheep bridge. Site was huge, flat and had a solid fire ring. The sunset and sunrise from this location is amazing. Highly recommend staying here.

Dispersed #20-35 spur

The third dispersed camping spur that BLM has established along the Sheep Bridge Road. The longer right-hand spur goes all the way out to a TH with a vault toilet. There is also a new parking area and TH with a vault toilet at the spur jct with the main Sheep Bridge Road. So if you need to use a govt vault toilet for camping, this is the dispersed camping spur for you! Note that this spur road is much better to be on in wet weather than the spur roads into the other lower # sites.
