Beautiful veiws

We got in late but found a nice spot a little close to the road, but no pm noise. 5 am lots of cars heading to the bike trail near by. The road got a little dust and is washboard, but very passable with our truck and 26 ft trailer.

It’s called Hurricane for a reason!

Very easy pull off the highway and gorgeous views. Nice spot when it’s not windy. Wind came up around midnight and it was like being in a hurricane for 5 hours. It’s super close to Zion but the wind made it a no return for us.

Easy to find, lovely views

Really easy to drive in (we have a Toyota Corolla and she did just fine). There are fire pits at each site. Please do NOT throw clay pigeons into the fire!

Convenient, peaceful & free!

Big open area you can just pull off really anywhere. A few other campers were set up when we pulled in, making it feel safer than just being alone lol 360 views and amazing stars at night!

A sure thing!

Very easy access to get in and out. Tons of spots were available. Parked right next to my tent, had a ring fire going. No issues what so ever! Used it as a staging area to visit Zion in the morning. Epic view of the night sky! If you got everything you need in a vehicle, I would definitely recommend. Very quiet and peaceful. Also heard some young coyotes at night. Really set the ambience with the moon Hanging over the skyline of mountains all around you. Remember to clean up after yourself! :)

Wow amazing boondocking and views!!

Truly spectacular views of the mesa’s, desert views and 30 min to Zion! The sunset, the moon, horizon to horizon of billions of seen stars, and a gorgeous sunset. Eye candy from this location made us not want to leave. There was a map but campsites are hard to find so we pulled into a place flat enough to set up a tent for a night. No fires, just come prepared for other meal cooking. 4WD is easier but 2WD is just fine on the bumpy rocky roads. So far from other campers it felt private. This was true boondock camping and loved every minute of it.

Wonderful spot

We arrived around 8pm Memorial Day weekend and the front spots were all taken. We continued down the dirt road for a bit and found a nice spot over looking the river. A few others passed by looking for spots. The road itself is bumpy but very doable for all cars.

Amazing sunsets

Designated campsites with fire pits. Some sites are marked with a sign and number. We were not able to find all the campsites. Most people were camping in a large packed area a shit distance from the highway and most campers did not have fire rings. We were there for four nights and no one came be to check. No water. No electric. No trash service. If it rains I would be prepared to move as the road will turn to mud. There were several roads that went in different directions but not sure about designated camping spots. Our campsite was the best but it was not marked. We turned right onto a road went a short distance. If you continued to follow the road you would see a sign that said No Camping. We turned around and took the first road to right. There we found an empty campsite large enough for two units but only one fire ring. The site was at the edge of the canyon with beautiful vistas. Site is not level but still worth. Dusty and a lot of wind. I’m
