Great for camping with kids!

We stayed in the group A site with a bunch of families and 15 kids ages 2-10. Tons of shade, picnic tables, and seating around the fire pit. The kids had a blast playing in the creek. It’s not too deep, and it runs fast enough to not be gross or slippery. There’s lots of grass in that site, so the kids had plenty of places to play. We had our own water spigot. There is a bathroom in between the 4 group sites. It has flushing toilets, and was regularly cleaned by the hosts.

Cute and convenient!

Stopped over on a car-camping trip from Oregon to Texas, site was conveniently close to Brigham for a fuel stop and quick grocery store trip. Upon arrival, campground was busier than expected for a rainy Sunday summer night, but I was able to find a first come first served single spot to park my car. Spots are nestled into fairly dense trees and brush, providing some privacy for tents but little for most of the parked cars. Bathroom was clean, had flush toilets and running water! Single sites are $27 after tax, but you receive 1/2 off if you have a National Parks Pass since the campground is part of the National Forest. Would definitely camp here again!

Great for dry camping with the trailer

Stayed in site 08 in Loop A. It has great shade and privacy. Dry camping the trailer is great. Have not once been in the bathroom, no need to with my trailer.

Very nice, lots of trees

We stayed one night and found the campground to be clean and well-maintained. It is only 10 miles or less off the main highway, yet very private with lots of trees! Great birding, too!

Awesome shade

This is a wonderful campground. There are trees everywhere that offer lots of shade. The campground is clean and the hosts are great. The campsites feel very private.

Excellent overnight stop

This site was perfect for a quick overnight stop. Excellent for tents, no hookups but great space for small to medium RVs. Half price for national park cardholders, ie Senior pass making this a great bargain. Lots of trees for shade. Loop A was easier to access as Loop B road was washed out a bit and had lots of ruts.

Favorite small campground!

This is an awesome small campground. If you have an RV it needs to be a small one as the turns are tight! The site we like best is right on the creek! If you go in early June you will be delighted with the poppy fields!
