City RV Park for a week during our trip to San Antonio

We stayed at Mission City RV Park for a week during our trip to San Antonio and couldn't have been happier! The park is extremely well-maintained with clean facilities and friendly staff. Our site was perfectly level and the hookups worked flawlessly. My son brought his favorite action figure collection along, and we even met another camper who shared his enthusiasm for vintage collectibles! The security features made us feel safe, and the location was perfect for exploring the Riverwalk and Alamo. The heated pool was a bonus after long days of sightseeing. Will definitely return on our next visit to San Antonio!

Great palace to stop.

Desk people are very friendly and even checked their Uber app to check how much the trip to a restaurant would cost. Heated pool. Showers are large and spacious. DVD, book, and cd library. Gated Rv park. The front-end shop had everything we wanted.

Well Run & Helpful Staff

We stayed 2 nights as a stopover for our westward travels. We were a little concerned when we arrived because it is nestled in a run down part of town. Boy, we were wrong. Very secure, clean, and quiet stay. Level sites. Some paved, some on gravel. Full hookups, laundry, and a pool on site. They have a lending library of movies and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely stay here again.

Cream of the Crop

You don't get a much nicer RV park than this in a major city. It hits all of the marks: mass transit at your doorstep; pool, laundry, showers and a gift shop at the entrance; easy pull-through, level sites; picnic tables at each site; quaint southwestern style! This is a nice park for the overnight or the long stay, and it has easy access to major highways.

Awesome!!!

Traveling to San Antonio yo visit the Alamo we stayed at the Mission RV Park! The experience was the best! Checking in after 9:30 pm we were greeted at the gate and led to our campsites . The hospitality of this campground crew and the campers there was unbelievable!!!!! We felt right at home! Taking the bus to the Riverwalk area and Alamo made our experience even better because we didn’t have to find parking or look for directions . The shower house , laundry, and store was very much appreciated and well kept! Will definitely stop here again if ever in this area ! Highly recommend this RV Park!!!!! 5 stars!!!!!

Mission City RV Park, TX

Located on the Eastern side of San Antonio, the park is located only a short 10 minute drive away from the famous Riverwalk or popular restaurants and breweries at the historic pearl.

The park is gated and beautifully maintained. There is a heated pool, spacious pet area with benches and toys for your furry friends. The bathrooms were very clean and well kept. The showers almost made us feel at home!

There is a convenient store with anything you may have forgotten and the owners were very kind. We needed to stay after check out when our car was being worked on and they were accommodating and did not charge us for a late check out.

Central to San Antonio

I typically rate campgrounds as they fit into 1 of 5 categories. This campground will be rated as a Basecamp — grounds that offer a comfortable home base that you’re happy to return to after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Ratings for this category are based on: Value to cost: 4 Overall grounds: 3 Utility of sites (hookups, layout, accessibility): 4 Local Attraction Proximity: 4 Reservation Process/Ease of Getting a Site: 5 Amenities: 4 Customer Service: 5 Cleanliness: 4

Solid option just a 10 minute drive to most of the best of San Antonio — the Pearl, The Alamo, Riverwalk and Brackenridge Park. The immediate area doesn’t have much to offer but it’s a very quick drive to anywhere you want to be.

The park is a bit on the expensive side, but pretty consistent with the area and they offer some discounts including Good Sam. The grounds are pretty standard with paved roads and gravel sites. The gravel is packed nicely and the sites are mostly level. Some of the “higher end” sites are paved pads that you can specify when booking through their online form. There is no privacy between sites aside from a slight staggering of trailers which allowed for plenty of room On either side.

Hookups are reliable and positioned well. The wifi is super inconsistent and weak, we were positioned very close to the office and could barely use the connection. They have a lovely heated pool and patio area plus communal grills in a bit of a clustered area. Laundry facilities accept quarters and credit cards. Security is excellent and everyone is given a unique code for the car gate.

Customer service was exceedingly friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. If you’re looking for a great running/biking path nearby, there is the Salado Creek Greenway with a trailhead just a mile away on Belgium Lane. We would definitely return for future stays in San Antonio!

Great City Stay

For being in a big city, this is a great park. It is quiet within the park. The industry around the park is noisy. There is an awesome walk/bike path about a mile away. Very peaceful and easy terrain for a great walk or bike ride. The park is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The wifi is not powerful enough to stream. The sites are close together but level. Some sites have cement pads. Most are gravel with a picnic table. We were going to stay at the KOA across the street but they wouldn't allow our dog. No dog breed restrictions for this park. We would stay here again.
