It’s a KOA, which sums it up pretty well. They have the basics: clean restroom and shower, pool, playground, small store and gift shop. But, they insist on putting everyone very close together. They have plenty of space, room for lots of camping and RVs. When we were there they were only 1/4 full, and we were all in one row, so close together we couldn’t open our canopy. One good thing about that was lots of room for the dogs to run. The best thing, however, was free limousine rides to The Big Texan Steakhouse! Sure, it’s a tourist trap, but the steak was great, and how often do you get to ride in a limo with longhorns?

We have stayed here two or three times and the best part is how clean everything is. I always want to stay longer. It’s quiet at night and the stars really are big and bright!!! I will always try to stop here if I’m traveling through we’ve never been disappointed. They have pull throughs, cabins and tent sites! 👍🏽

We enjoyed staying here. The hay rides were fun. There a pool, laundry facilities and little store. Also a clubhouse with WiFi. RV spots with full hookups. Price was good not great.

As with many KOA’s they are located in some questionable areas, this one is not the exception. However, the staff is very helpful and the campground is very well maintained. This KOAis accesible to Interstate as well as Old Route 66, Cadillac Ranch and Big Tex.

There is a pool available and it there is a chance of rain in the summer. My family and I stayed in one of their Kabins.

We came in to this campground late. They had a pool but it was closed when we arrived. Sites were small, but accommodating. The playground was a big hit after a long drive. Restrooms were clean and showers were free. We couldn't stake our tents down, the ground was kind of hard. But for our overnight it fit the bill. The sites had picnic tables and grills, sort of. They weren't at each site, almost like a shared grill setup. They also had a small area for dogs to exercise if you brought your pup along.
