2012 camping trip
I had a blast on my dad's friends pontoon boat. He let me take 2 of my girlfriends and my boyfriend with us. We all had such a blast. It was a really nice day too. Definitely a trip to remember.

Nice & helpful hosts, several sites set aside for first come, first serve. Arrived on mid afternoon Sunday with no reservation and was able to get a lake view site. Short walk (<100yds) to lake with rocky beaches. Lots of swimmers, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing. Well maintained bathrooms, flush toilets, no showers. Forest service has been clearing dead/diseased trees, so lots of firewood laying around if they’re allowing fires. Nice lakeside trail, maybe a mile, to the day use area, resort/marina with restaurant, store, pizza, boat rentals. Mostly rv’s, deducting a star because they allow generators, which seem very popular, well into the evening. 1/2 bars of AT&T service.
This is a great campground with large sites that are deep in old growth cover. Camp sites are nicely spaced so that you have lots of privacy. It does close for the winter and can be very busy at times. Nice proximity to Crater lake as well as day hikes.
Pleasantly quiet and wonderfully beautiful.
Great campsite right on the Lake of the Woods in Southern Oregon. Perfect spot to get away from the valleys heat. Easy to step to the water from your campsite, or in a boat or just watch the kids from the private yet easily accessible lakefront. Campsites are not too close to your neighbors, yet close to restrooms. Easy to drive to the lodge and get snacks or supplies, gas...but secluded enough that you don't feel crowded. Definitely recommend.
