Peaceful and spectacular views

Dry camping with a put toilet, very clean. The camping sites were pretty level. Site 11 we feel was the best. Baker city was just about 20 minutes away along with the old gold mining town of Sumpter about 10 minutes away

Lovely Spring Camping

There are picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets. No water. Lots of birds singing and wonderful views. The lake is dry, but the scenery is amazing. Very clean and the sites are spacious and well separated. I’d come back.

Free and partially cleared in the winter

The road in is plowed in the winter and 4 wheelers play around in the snow so you can get your car far enough off the road. Bathrooms are locked in the winter to no surprise but if you need a snowy campground for the night this is perfect!

Quiet

Used very little. Finally a quiet place after 3 months on the road. Clean vault toilets if needed. Pack it in - pack it out. No water, so bring your own.
