Rv park
Very nice, clean, pool.
Right off I5 in Salem, OR, a snap to get to and back on to the freeway. This was our first trip in our new motorhome, and the staff was very helpful, going so far as to suggest a different site that was easier to get into. There were a couple dog areas that were well placed, and the park was very quiet for the most part. We will be back, if just for a quick get away from our home in Vancouver.
Have been living here about a month in a travel trailer. Appreciate the amenities of small gym, hot tub, and showers. Excited for the outdoor pool to open. Staff is friendly and grounds are well maintained. There is areas for pets. We have our own wifi so can’t comment on that. Seems like a popular weekend spot for rvs and trailers.
We used to love this place and came here yearly, as the facilities are nice and it's close to family. With recent management, staff, and policy changes, our motorhome is no longer allowed and about 1/4 of the park is for those passing through while the remainder are long-term slots. While visiting the other party in our group, they also kicked out our service dog from the pool deck and rudely told us to “read the rules.” We are well aware of public laws regarding service animals, but this staff member didn’t have any. It continues to be a nice park, but heaven help you if there is a toe out of line.
If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. But I give it 1 star because the facilities, (ie.the pool, game room, horseshoes, bathrooms, community kitchens/game room, and the office are nice facilities that stay cleaned. BUT the staff here are absolutely the rudest people I have ever been approached by in a professional setting. The residents themselves are like a bunch of high school gossip girls, that talk crap about any outsiders. & also walk down to the front lobby and fill out a formal complaint about every little thing they don’t like. They advertise high speed Wi-Fi but unless it’s during the day, its so over crowded that you cannot get on anything. So if you stream Netflix in the evenings after a long day, you better bring your own portable Wi-Fi. The website says pet friendly, however that means only little yippers, and labradoodles & Shih Tzus. Pretty much all large breed dogs are not welcome. And they very much enforce it! They allow absolutely NOTHING except for a bbq grill to be outside & around your camper. You cannot put stuff in your lawn area, like Christmas lights. The front lobby associates sent our mail back numerous times just because they were pissed off. The office staff will come take pictures of your lot and camper (to put in in your file) as they say, without asking or even informing you. They will make a petition and try to get other residents to sign it if they don’t like someone that is staying there. I could go on & on for pages but basically the bottom line is, there are so many more beautiful campgrounds with great facilities and high speed internet right in the surrounding areas. This one is expensive, rude and over priced. Save your coin and stress and go elsewhere.
The park was at one time a beautiful park. Not now grass is mostly dead except the weeds the spa has been closed for over 3 weeks from a guest being chemical burns from the spa an know the parks wants to raise the rates maybe to help pay for the weeds it's not for park service. We stopped in for a week the people are nice but that's it. Ugh
We stayed here a couple of times, the personal have always been polite, and customer service is excellent! The resort has laundry, which is clean, they have a wonderful pool and hot tubs.
The best in Salem, very clean.
