Peaceful campsite in the Adirondack foothills close to many fun activities. Our campsite offers a babbling brook, birdsongs, and walking trails. We have wild blueberries and apples in season.
If hanging out at the campsite is not what you want to do the whole trip we are only 10 minutes from the Herkimer Diamond mines and a 1/2 hour from Utica, home of the Boilermaker 15k road race and the Utica Zoo.
We are north of historic Little Falls, NY, featuring a Victorian main street, antique malls, and the highest lock on the Mohawk canal system. Also north of us is Old Forge, site of the Enchanted Forest Water Safari water park and a main street full of small shops.
A scenic drive south takes you to Cooperstown NY which hosts the Farmer's Museum, the Fenimore Art Museum and the Baseball Hall of Fame. If you love a craft show, the 39th annual Remsen Barn Festival of the Arts and the 42nd annual Herkimer County Community College craft shows are juried shows near us.
Go east and find trail-heads for hiking in the Adirondacks. The drives for fall foliage around here are breath-taking!
This campsite is equipped with a queen sized bunk bed!
