Rainy and wet

Started with really expensive sites, and we had 4 of them next to one another. Rained the whole time we were there. Wouldnt even consider a discount, nothing. Put up tarps, then was told we can't have them up. As far as camping. Nope. Now the Pow-wow on the other hand. Have yet to miss one

Love it

Great family friendly campground. Large sites, not super private, but we also stayed right on the beach. Clean. Safe. Friendly staff.

Horrible experience

From the moment we arrived it was just issue after issue. Directed to the wrong site initially that already had a camper on it, had to go around the whole park again to be able to get into our correct spot. Never received a key card for the gate or the wrist bands you’re supposedly suppose to wear while you’re there. They confiscate your kiln dried firewood even if you’re from in state. But proceeded to tell us it was okay to level the camper with the wood but not burn it (riddle me that one). Essentially, it’s their way to ensure that you HAVE to buy their extremely wet pine firewood. The sites have no grass at all, it’s just silky sand that flies everywhere. And if you’re extremely unfortunate like we were, you get parked near a seasonal camper who watches you from their windows all weekend and makes you feel like a hoodlum. We almost considered leaving less than 24 hours after arriving and cutting our loses- decided instead to make the best out of a no good situation.

Get your glamp on

Family and pet friendly, stocked store including adult beverages, very fun for kids, stuff to do like laser tag, float in pond, occasional live music in the field, overall the campground is well maintained and staffed. This is a glampground, keep this in mind, if your looking for a peacful Shangri-La seek another campground, if your looking to let loose and enjoy an amenity filled experience around other people, give this campground a try. I’ll go back again.

Lots of fun

We’ve been here numberous times to visit friends on seasonal sites. Always clean, new store and food truck(smells delicious). 2 nice beaches on lake with boat ramp. Kayaks you can rent. Jump pad with 2 playgrounds and ball field for kids. Brand new cabins if you don’t like tents or campers. Booked another stay for next month.
