Great spot

This campground was very easy to find and well maintained. We stayed there on a day that was 111 degrees in Vegas but the night was perfect because it’s in the canyon. There were plenty of spots which made it enjoyable to not have any stress of finding a good spot. We could see some people far in the distance but it certainly wasn’t a bother. We loved this place and would go back!

My favorite boondocking site

Quiet, secluded spot between Las Vegas and Pahrump Nevada. First come, first served but it was very quiet when we were there. The Boondocking experience is my favorite part of camping/travelling and this was a great spot. Spent 2 weeks here and didn't come in contact with anybody! Other people were there but all well dispersed.

Gorgeous camping

Sites are spread out far enough apart that you’re not right on top of any other parties. We went out on a Friday and our first-pick site was taken but our second one was quite nice. We were up on a hill over looking the drive in and to the other side you could see far down into the valley. The sites are surrounded by various mountains and hills that are spectacular to look at and provide for a beautiful sunset view. No amenities so bring all you need and pack out everything. We picked up quite a bit of previous people’s trash so make sure you bring bags and keep the area clean. Can get windy there too so be prepared.

Close to Vegas but out of the Fray

Lots of great spots. There were plenty of people camping out here last night but we found a private turn off with epic Mountain View’s. Paved road with dirt road turn-offs. No facilities. Many spots had fire rings.

Amazing. Quiet. Relaxing

This was my first time doing a dispersed campsite and I have no complaints! It was relatively quiet and very peaceful at night. The spots are pretty well spread out to give you the most privacy you’d need and there is great cell reception out here. We heard all kinds of wildlife at night, coyotes were the ones to stick out the most with all their howling. I would comeback!

Boondocking

Basically the whole road is campable. Wash, little trails, back in areas, little pull outs. All kinds of places. Quiet and dark. Few people travel the road. There is 5G service as long as you stay on the highway side of the hill.

No resources whatsoever. 100% off grid.

Our Go To spot when around Las Vegas

I love the canyon and mountains here. There’s hiking nearby farther in the canyon and has never been an issue finding a spot for or Sprinter here.
