Family fun but...

Our family has been going to this campground for decades and while they have certainly made improvements to the entire campground over the years the prices have gone up while the amenities that are included has went down. Especially when you consider that there are state parks that charge far less and don’t charge you extra for people on your site. It does have a lot of fun family activities like horseback riding, zip line, and float trips but of course all of those cost extra as you would expect. While almost all of the campsites have full hook ups the sites are mostly very close to each other. Overall I give the campground and average rating because there is still a lot of fun to be had here and for a private campground that they have made many improvements over the years but unfortunately almost everything their cost extra and the campsite prices are almost double of what you would pay anywhere else

Below average campground

This campground is not very shaded and they want to charge you for everything. They charge extra for any adult other than the first two. You also are charged extra for every child you have over 8. So weird! They already charge $40 a night for the electric, water, and sewer hookup. Oh and if you want to raft, it costs extra to fill up a raft to full capacity. It may be a 6 person raft but if you want to put 6 people in it, it will cost you extra. Oh and it costs extra to take a shower there too. See what I mean about them charging you for everything possible. We love to camp and we camp several times a year. This campground has been our least favorite and most expensive.

Watch out for the rodeo

Really nice floating, RV sites are almost on top of one another. We were there on a rodeo weekend so there was plenty of extra traffic and noise.

Standard campground

This campground is nice to go to in August-September time. We got to be pretty alone, with no one around. Other than that it is pretty crowded, RVs very close, but like a typical campground. It’s convenient for floating though!

Always here

This is my favorite summer spot. Small and family ran make it quiet and peaceful when looking for a good spot to spend your days off. Love to float here or just play in the river
